when I think of evo, I do see them as the closest netting competition, but really, since I've started the only time evo wins anw is when they net and we war. half our alliance just says f it to serious netting.

I say to evo, how about picking up the slack a bit and seriously put some more effort into being better players

The top ten was crappy because of the building cost change and there was no landtrading last set since everyone who would trade was warring basically.

Sodawater was slated to win before sof killed him. How'd he get there? successful landtrading. If sodawater could put himself in that position to win, SURELY evo with it's second to none netting that you keep bragging about could do it too. Point is, you guys had the tools and capacity to do extremely well given that NO ONE was around to seriously compete with or hinder your netting set, yet somehow you still resorted to cheap tactics like farming detaggers to put up mediocre finishes.

Yeah I'm calling your netting skills out not just to poke fun at you, but to challenge you guys to try harder and compete with us. After all, this game is no fun if laf is competing with itself.

not having a swipe or anything here... but laf being twice the size in membership would need twice the gains minimum for the same time and income invested ingame to come out of the detagging scenario even with Evo... and Vice Versa... Evo would need half of what anyone in Laf gained to make it up on a per member basis if laf were to detag someone and do the same.

Again i like to compete with Evo, as they are the closest to "our self perceived skill level"

From what I gather LaF is the holiest of netters and should abide by their own standards, so I suggest PDM and TIEVO implement the following LaF FA policies:

(i) PDM should suicide any LaF countries aided into the top 10 in the last minutes.

(ii) TIEVO should kill any LaF country that ticks any of the following:
(a) takes retals for any other LaF country
(b) receives FA
(c) landgrabs any country detagged from LaF
(d) is run by eugene or rockwoman
(e) has 10mil troops

...how many countries would LaF actually have left?

And then they'd kill Evo in a week, despite Evo following LaF's perfect example of netting.

What Monsters doesn't understand is that LaF is hoping for a quick win in this war so that they can throw them under as well for daring to landtrade and almost assuring sodawaters win last set (who I'm sure they had their lapdog Sof engineer a reason to kill).

Non Sof/Laf/RD/Rival players in solo servers should suicide (go to war with the most retarded reasons, e.g. "I dunno, I suddenly don't take kindly to your country name") Laf players there to ruin their sets going forward. Don't take this cross server? Why not? They play as an alliance there. Try messing with any of the top Laf players there and see how many of them come after you, cough cough, Rockbiatch and co. Your would ruin sets and cause a bunch of them to be deleted for coordination, win win.

Let's take this game quickly down the road to extinction already. You know we all want to.

Sleeping at the computer does not mean sleeping in your bed with a computer in the room. Unless your computer is set not to sleep and you are set to jump up on it any second while "sleeping".

A lot of lost productivity at work for a lot of these folks I guess.

Of course the computer is set not to sleep with alerts... Are you purposefully being dumb or what? Lots of people leave their computers on 24/7 (sleep mode doesn't count as being "on").
