War wise? I'd say LaF has a pretty good hold on the server with their numbers, activity, and skill level across the board. Plus LaF can netgain too which some other war alliances can't do so that's a +1.

I remember distinctively 2 resets ago LaF was being gangbanged, then more were called in to the gangbang on LaF, and then LaF called in some allies.

Also, should LaF not recruit and bring back old members? Isn't it good for the game as a whole if LaF helps increase the player base?

It's like people want LaF to split up because they are big or something.

Blatently false. LaF has fought plenty of wars against people of equal or greater size, they just have not done so in the past couple resets.

Also, you only speak of events over the last 2 resets. Last I checked 2 points make a line, not a pattern.

I think MD has been looking good lately in war and netting. I don't know if they could get ANW out of it, but they have enough talent at the top to get their names noticed each round, one way or another.

It is always interesting to see the wax and wane of membership and success though.

I like to try and call it as i see it when it comes to this kind of stuff, but i have not seen or been involved in an even war in this game.

A fully war prepped alliance is the only alliance in the game that can absorb any kind of a FS and still win the war. SoL showed that when they smashed a netting laf with a big numbers disadvantage.

Advertantly Laf has shown what you can do with the numbers reversed .

The strongest alliance in the game is the one with the best political team behind it at any given point.

This past few sets its been LaF... leading up to that point SoL was my pick.

This game changes so fast that the standout at the end of this set could be someone else again.

there has been no even wars in the modern EE era.

even wars are like the old UCN vs SOL war or SoF/SOL wars.. or the LaF LCN war in 2002, etc.

most netters would never agree to a prearranged war, and would reach the battlefield with a very low moral.

If your set gets screwed by alliance A, you got that hatred to fuel you for a set, or 2 without it you wouldn't war.

at least that is for most netters.
