Last set we had something to the tune of World War III, but it depends on how well you're pacted to be honest.

archaic: FFS when Marshal has stood out as maybe the brightest person on the whole thread . . . fluff me, I'm going to go smoke a joint and reevaluate some fluff

sinistril: Oh snap, Marshal destroyed galleri. Thought I'd

As has always been the case with FFA, it's fairly friendly towards netters, but there are never any guarantees.

If you look at the top ANW clans the last several sets, you'll see perfect examples of this. Last set, it was mostly one-man tags dominating ANW. They were left alone as all the war tags had targets. However, TKO sought out a war (they're usually a netting tag) and NBK declared war on PAN and ESD, the other two premiere netting tags on the server. KSM was the only mid- or large-sized netting tag that ended up getting a chance to netgain.

Having said that, most of the time, most netting tags are left alone to do their thing as long as they aren't the ones actually provoking war with other clans.

Most important is stating your tag and your intentions. You should mostly be left alone.

Dragon, just looking back now, I saw at least 13 sets that ESD (or GDI for one set) existed.

So you've had to war 1 out of 13 sets you've ran ESD. That means 92.3% of the time, you've gotten to netgain the way you wanted. 7.7% of the time, you didn't get your way and your clan had to fight (well, sort of, I guess you proved you didn't have to fight, technically).

This myth you're perpetuating that ESD was unfairly chased off the server by warmongers just isn't reality.

ESD was not chased off by anyone other then our own laziness, we had 3 members out for the set with others planning on taking a break this set.

Netting in FFA here is a HELL of a lot easier then netting in the FFA of old, no doubt about that. Make your profile public, state your tag and make pacts and one man tags are possibly the safest way to go =/

btw, that's not an open invitation for NBK to war us again, just because the numbers still wouldn't be bad. Back to back unprovoked wars with a netting clan really IS a way to try to kill of a clan.

The occasional war set though is actually kind of fun. The PAN/Focus vs. NBK war is probably the third most fun set I've had, behind my two best netting sets.
