And Havoc- if you're connected at your university, chances are you're sharing an IP with hundreds of people.

I know proxies are frowned upon around here, but this is a situation where they come in handy. When the bonus thing acts up (bigwiggle gets to it first), I use http://www.hidemyass.com/ and just copy and paste the entire URL from the MMORPG site in there. You might run into problems if other people are using it... I don't know how many different proxy servers that site actually has set up.

same thing happens to me quite often. have to go through a proxy to vote.

I don't see what the whining is about in this case though- unless you had a country that was competing for most kills, synoder? The top countries on that list legitimately had the most kills of the set, even not counting self-kills/snipes.

Now that the idea is out there though, this could turn into a mess next set if there's several people who are continually making restarts only to kill them for stats. You can make and kill several restarts a day without too much effort. Seems like a pretty easy fix though... stop counting self-kills.

Maybe take it further and stop counting same-tag kills.
