i wasnt reselling, i was one of the ones keeping the prices high buying everything

if i ever do this again, ill try the extreme self farming so i can have a huge PM and resell. but that seems like a LOT of work.

you can get your bonus expenses to -40%, as a demo with max mil expenses, it would be worth it.

say im buying troops for $118, and selling them for 180, i could make a 20-30bill net profit from each late set sell, and it would only cost me 1-1.5bill to run the turn to sell the goods

You'd need to dump almost 300 million troops to get 20 bil, and the tech to get that near maxed mil tech would be insane. Then you'd have to hope it sells, which most people jump off their private market, the chances your fluff is selling that high for more then 2 days or so is slim to none.

market has been at $180 for almost a week in a set where only 1 main clan is netting, and right now i can put the equivalent of 650mill troops on the market. the mil tech wouldnt be a problem because i could just transfer it from my feeders

and i wouldnt have to make 20bill, i could just make $1, and it would be profitable. you said it wasnt profitable, and it clearly would be.

i might not be the best netter, but i can net kid.

add 2-3 more netting clans into the equation. and i think i have bought maybe 10% of that

regardless, it would be profitable, even if i only made 5-10 bill per resell, or made 1 or 2 huge resells and made a bit more..... your statement was false.

my goal isnt to win, it is to put up a higher NW than last set, and i have improved on my last srt country by a factor of 25%.

if i win it is more a reflection of the server than my skills.

well I feel TKO had a good reset, grew membership, dealt with some suciders that were upset we didn't war and will likely post our second most top 100.

However we could have done better had our clan actually been our clan, but I guess I'm flattered other clans need to hide members in our clan for protection in order to net and switch over in the last day so another clan can take credit for producing countries that weren't under their tag the entire reset.

Typically people who wanted to net rather than war in their real clan would join another clan for a whole reset then go back to their clan the following, rather than one day short......

for the record, people who are looking to net for a reset when their clan will likely war, are welcome to join TKO for that whole reset without any hard feelings after they go back to their own clan the following reset

My countries were only 130m ave net, which ispathetic. Shoudl be at least 50m ave net higher if i tried.

80m ave net on 30k ave land is pretty poor.

The top 10s, top 25s top 100s mean nothing... when every other clan wars no fluff we get alot.... that doesnt make our performance any better.

This set was great for farmers or techers. I understand cashers under performing but the majority of TKO should of had a better performance. many members did great... some, myself included, did not.

I had a 142 mil anw apparently. I may need to recalc that, but if its accurate then thats my best since the changes. honestly I think a 200mil anw is possible under current changes. also, bear in mind after next reset, I'm declaring a run on #1 again, just need to sow up some stats in the meantime

200 mil is more then doable IMO. I'm shooting for 250 mil average net personally next set. But that outcome will depend greatly on picking the right strat, and not fluffing up, or getting fluffed up.

It kind of reminds me of one of the other sets from awhile back (I think it might have been the NBK vs. PAN and FoCuS set), because TKO were the only ones who netted, and they kind of had a down set.

There is something to competition to drive people towards their best--either beating your own goals or beating someone else that's evenly matched. The most fun netting sets that I recall included some where it was a real competition for TNW, like looking back at the 14th set, when it was a real battle between four clans (PAN, TKO, LaE, and ESD) for both TNW and ANW.

If TKO can keep their numbers though, I think they'll be able to reclaim their spot as king of the netgaining hill for several sets.

Also, not that this is a hard stat to look back at, but I thought it'd be fun to look back at TNW and ANW wins.

TKO - 10 wins
PAN - 10 wins
LaE - 3 wins
ESD - 1 win
KSM - 1 win

ANW:

ESD - 6 wins
PAN - 6 wins
Solo tags - 5 wins
TKO - 3 wins
Dynasty - 2 wins
Mercs - 2 wins
TSE - 1 win

As I said, I think if TKO can keep their numbers, they could start a new run that will give them some distance on us in PAN in TNW wins, and if they can stay ahead of the solo tags, catch up in ANW.

well....I was pretty happy with the results although I feel that I could still improve further. Ended almost 1b above my TNW last set... 2.533b TNW with ANW of 158m. I guess its not too shabby for my 2nd set back since 05. and it wasn't exactly a good set for cashers with relatively high tech prices through out. Food prices weren't exactly cheap but were pretty much maintained around 40+ due to my standing orders.

It will be interesting if we all get to net next set what hte top 100 cutoff will be. I'm thinking if sota/hs/icd/tko/panlv all get to net, top 100 cutoff will be 200+

Due to numbers (basing it off last set's numbers), I actually think you guys in ICD have a better chance of toppling TKO for TNW than we in PAN do. I dont know what our numbers will be, but TKO and PAN are fairly evenly matched netting wise, so if we're 100 countries behind them, it's unlikely we'd pass them.

Looking back, if everyone nets, it could be like the 18th round, where the top 100 cutoff was 235M.

Of course, it rarely happens that everyone gets to netgain.

I was looking through the score list pan has some massive average nets in non war sets. I'm also guessing tko got at least 1 or 2 netters from clans at war last set. But in a game of netters, total net matters less then average imo, and I think ICD will have a hell of a time keeping up with the others, as most of our players haven't netted in years.

I looked back over my historical scores and at least one round, it took $250 Million NW to make the top 100 and a few where it took at least $200 Million.

Mind you, that was pre-GA/DR nerf..err....adjustment, so that has to be factored in. My guess would be maybe $175 - $200 Million to make Top 100 if the server was mostly in a net gaining mood. This set was easy. I had a top 10 with a NW of just under $400 Million. That's terrible.

I like ANW as a measuring stick but then, I would. If ESD had more than 8 guys playing a set, we were "big". That said, you get 8 guys who average 250m NW a country and that adds up to 20 Billion TNW.

your stat although nice, neglected who finished second in anw and tnw. Looks like PAN has us edged out by one if you add all those together. ANW will be hard for tko in coming sets, being as large as we are currently, but I feel tko can fight for tnw every reset

I think any clan thinking they can hit over 150mil anw (aside from one man tags) is dilusional at best. Since the last major changes I havn't seen very many indviduals crack that let alone a clan. I think 225anw is prolly tops for a player and 150mil anw is tops for any 4+ member clan. I would love to be proven wrong on this, but find it unlikely.
