I've stayed out of this pretty much entirely.
All I will say is that we were NOT looking for a war.
I haven't seen all the news on this, RL has been a fluff lately and I barely have time to run a country right atm, so I cannot comment on the lead up, only that I trust Detmer's decision to lead us into war was justified.

We will be signing coalition pacts this set. in short, this means that if you sign one of us, you are signing all of us.

Set after that SLIT strikes back but does so in seperate non co-aligned wars and the winning streak from that point on starts for SLIT.

that was the set AFTER actually.
before that, Rage, PDM and someone else (I forget who) hit ix and smashed them silly, whilst tie took on sof, and I believe were just starting to get beaten down by sof when rage and pdm jumped into that also. (wasn't pdm's best moment :/) LaF had pacted out, and I THINK SoL went after RIVAL.

after that ix systematically raped rage for a couple of sets, smashing them to a shadow of their former selves, then jumped PDM at 120 v 80 after that. the set ix jumped pdm was the set that sol ix and LaF turned their backs on tie. ix asked PDM for a cf so they could FS ti, because they believed tie was going to fs them. the following set was the first tie/pdm v sol/ix war.

also pang, you forgot about tie's involvement in the first slit war under the guise of enigma. PDM actually FS'd enigma whilst RAGE FS'd sol, as sol had planned on jumping PDM, and had asked rage to join them. enigma then grew out of tag with their restarts, before jumping en masse back into their tag and smashing PDM and rage horribly with solidly built countries that had escaped the ravages of war, whilst everyone else's countries were spent, on both sides.

Last I knew, comwood was expecting his 3rd? child, with Daria, and yeah on top of running his business, well... free time would be rather lacking I would think.
Especially given that the last time I recall seeing him actually active within PDM for awhile, he was seriously considering shutting ES down altogether because the userbase was down to something like just 1500 people for the whole of earth. given it's smaller again, and the actual server ES was on was failing horribly, I honestly don't see him bringing it back. it's a pity, but I think it's the truth :(

MD closed their doors near the end of E:2025. I was there for a little just before they did so, acting as an FA type and such. bombay and academus took most of tthe gang to AE.
I retired altogether for awhile then got dragged back to PDM :p

you might have done the boxcar site up... but when you create something for a clan, you don't get bored ad delete everything simply because you are quitting. the decent thing to do is leave it.

meh. i already freely admitted I failed to ensure that we had retal countries. My false belief that there was no real ill will towards paradigm that would lead to farming. Our big beef, with LaF, settled after laf generously dropped their remaining reps.
And yeah, our member retalled incorrectly. Did your leaders look for myself or bodyman to resolve it? No. You chose to kill our member without so much as a heads up.

Pang. I agree with you. the failure to communicate on BOTH sides is what caused this in the end, and MY failure (as someone who SHOULD know better) to ensure that we had retallers from the outside also brought this in.

now given I am PDM's VP, to say that all pdm leaders automatically try to point the blame elsewhere is not entirely true.

however, I am still also correct in stating that thomas intended to farm us from the outset regardless of consequence, so to THAT it is my fault for not ensuring we could respond to THOMAS in kind from the outset.
it is a downer that collab never spoke to me at any stage though.

However, when it comes to failing to communicate I would say collab have been just as guilty. KR's on one of our members without even giving us a heads up? Yeah thats a little rude. Do I believe our member deserved it? Partly. You farmed us, he responded in kind, and continued after the DNH. (thats why I say justified). Anyways meh. Let's have some fun :)
